You can literally wear it under your armpit.
Honda presented Motocompacto folding electric scooter. It is inspired by the Motocompo model, which was popular in Japan in the 80s.
When folded, the new product resembles a folding table (but with small wheels). To turn it into a vehicle, you simply pull out the steering wheel, seat and rear wheel.
Honda claims that the aluminum frame makes the scooter very light - about 19 kilograms. It turns out that it is in the weight category of ordinary modern bicycles. However, unlike them, you won’t go far with a Motocompacto. Its battery lasts for a maximum of 20 kilometers. It charges in 3.5 hours.
The company justifies that this is a city transport and such a power reserve is quite enough, for example, for going to the store or walking in the park. The scooter is designed in such a way that it can be easily taken with you, including on public transport. In addition, it is equipped with a locking system, so you can leave it for temporary storage anywhere without fear.
The Honda Motocompacto will go on sale in November and will be available exclusively at Motocompacto.com and Honda and Acura dealers. It was valued at $995 (≈96,000 rubles).
