The first tests of the iPhone 15 Pro confirmed an increase in performance and RAM capacity

Test results iPhone 15 Pro in the Geekbench benchmark confirmed Apple's statements about improved performance of the new A17 Pro chip compared to last year's A16 Bionic installed in the iPhone 14 Pro.
- The iPhone 15 Pro (iPhone model number 16.1) scored 2908 and 7238 points in single-core and multi-core tests, while last year's iPhone 14 Pro scored slightly more modestly with 2642 and 6739 points, respectively.
- The iPhone 15 Pro Max (iPhone model number 16.2) has slightly less - 2846 and 7024 points. But this is also noticeably higher than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which scores 2546 and 6631 points in the same tests.
Geekbench results also confirmed 8GB of RAM for both iPhone 15 Pro models, up from 6GB in last year's smartphones.
Let us remind you that the new Apple flagships received the Apple A17 Pro chip, which is manufactured using the first-of-its-kind 3-nanometer process technology. Base performance increased by 10%, and graphics performance increased by 20%. It also features a 2x faster 16-core neural engine for faster machine learning, such as more accurate auto-correction or object extraction from an image. It can process up to 35 trillion operations per second.
