Manufacturer Nokia will launch its own brand of smartphones HMD

The Finnish company HMD Global, best known for producing Nokia smartphones, announced about plans to launch its own line of mobile devices.
We are ready for the next step on our journey - to independently enter the smartphone market and create a new world of telecommunications, focused on the needs of consumers.

Gadgets under the HMD brand will be produced together with Nokia smartphones - they will not be abandoned. The company promises interesting collaborations and “new partnerships.” Other details have not yet been disclosed. There are also no hints about the expected release date of these products.
HMD Global formed in 2016 when Microsoft divested its mobile phone business. The main owner of the Finnish company is the founder of the Taiwanese company Foxconn, Terry Gou. The latter is now engaged in the production of Nokia smartphones.
