The watch case will be straight from a 3D printer.
Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2 will receive a number of improvements that will make them more accurate in tracking various health indicators. About it reported authoritative insider Mark Gurman from Bloomberg.
The main update will be a new processor, which has not actually changed for three generations of watches. Apple apparently plans to "actively advertise the significant increase in processing speed achieved with its help." We are talking about ultra-wideband U2. Among other things, it should improve location capabilities, allowing for more accurate tracking of people and devices in the Aind My App. Apparently, the chip will appear in all versions of the iPhone 15.
The insider also learned that the company has updated many sensors, including the optical heart rate sensor. The emphasis is on increasing their “speed, efficiency and accuracy.”
The second-generation Apple Watch Ultra is also made from more recycled materials and will come in black for the first time. And the Watch Series 9 stainless steel case is 3D printed. Next year Apple
plans use this technology in the production of Ultra. There are also signs that the Cupertines will finally update the Link bracelet, which has not changed since the first generation of watches (or stop producing it). It was previously reported that this fall they will refuse from some of their leather straps. Otherwise, the new Apple Watch models will remain virtually unchanged, Gurman concluded.
