Android users are ready to upgrade to iPhone 15 for USB-C. And you?

It has long been no secret that the iPhone 15 will be the first line of Apple smartphones to support a USB-C port instead of the proprietary Lightning. American retailer SellCell, which specializes in the sale of used equipment, decided to find out how important this is for iPhone and Android users. To do this, service representatives questioned per thousand users of both systems.
The company found that 63% of iPhone users want to upgrade to the iPhone 15 specifically for USB-C. Respondents cite the ability to use the same cable for iPhone, Mac, and iPad as the main benefits of the new port, as well as compatibility with non-Apple-certified chargers.
As for users who are not ready to upgrade their smartphone for USB-C, more than 38% answered that they are simply satisfied with the current iPhone. Another 31% noted that the charging connector will not affect their decision to buy a new smartphone at all.
Among Android users surveyed, over 44% said they would consider upgrading to the iPhone 15 due to USB-C support. The reasons are the same as for iPhone users: the ability not to get confused in different types of cables and use non-official Apple chargers.
If we talk about the transition to the iPhone 15 in general, regardless of the reasons for the upgrade, this model will be chosen by 66% of iPhone owners and only 34% of Android smartphone owners.
What do you think of iPhone with USB-C? Ready to upgrade, or is changing the port not enough for you?
