GoPro unveils Hero 12 Black action camera with AirPods support

gopro showed its new action camera, the Hero 12 Black. One of its main features was the ability to synchronize with wireless headphones.
The device supports 5.3K video at up to 60 frames and High Dynamic Range (HDR). And the new sensor allows you to shoot videos with an aspect ratio of 8:7 in any of the available modes.
Hero 12 Black introduces a new version of HyperSmooth 6.0 video stabilization and vertical capture. The GoPro could always be held at a 90-degree angle, and on later models, the menus learned to rotate on their own to ease of use, but now there is a vertical mode for this, which can be used even in a horizontal position cameras.
Also announced are new shooting modes and additional tools for video processing, support for timecode synchronization when working with multiple GoPros and the ability to upload footage to cloud storage.
One of the main features was the support for wireless headphones with microphones, including Apple AirPods. The headset can also be used for voice activation of the camera.
The company claims that the novelty has a stronger and lighter body compared to its predecessors. The new lenses are twice as scratch resistant and have a hydrophobic coating to keep moisture out. And on a single charge, it can last "twice as long as its predecessors." True, the exact battery life has not yet been disclosed.
The model has a 1/4-20 hole, which makes the Hero 12 Black compatible with standard camera mounts and accessories.
Hero 12 Black was priced at $400 (≈39,000 rubles). On the company's website it is already possible to issue pre-order, and it will go to retail on September 13th. A new waterproof remote control and a tripod for the device are also due out in October.
