Chrome has learned how to take video screenshots in a couple of clicks

Without the player interface and black frames around the edges.
Google adds new feature in desktop Chrome: copy frames from video. It allows you to save a still image to the clipboard, just like a normal picture.
To enable the feature, open any video on YouTube or other platform and double-click on the video with the right mouse button. In the window that appears, select "Copy video frame" - and the picture will be saved to the clipboard. It is noteworthy that the image is clean, without the player interface and black frames around the edges.
Screenshots are best obtained when the video is paused: if you click "Copy video frame" during playback, the result may come out blurry and fuzzy.
The feature is already available in Chrome 116 for Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS. If you have updated your browser, but the new menu item still does not appear, you will have to wait a few days.
