Honor showed Magic V Purse - a folding smartphone that imitates a lady's bag

As part of the IFA 2023 exhibition in Berlin, Honor introduced an extremely unusual novelty - a folding smartphone Magic V Purse. Visually, it resembles Huawei Mate Xs 2, but its positioning is different - this is a device exclusively for a female audience.

Special cases will be available for this smartphone, allowing the device to imitate a small ladies' clutch. With this accessory, Magic V Purse can be worn as a handbag, in hand or even on the shoulder.

For such a scenario, there are various animated Always On Display screensavers that will make the display look like the outer surface of a clutch.

The technical characteristics of the novelty have not been announced, but in terms of the bending mechanism and the arrangement of elements on the case, this is practically a copy of the flagship Mate Xs 2 from Huawei. The latter differs only in cosmetic details and an additional main camera.

So far, the gadget is positioned as a conceptual solution, but it is possible that a full-fledged announcement will take place in the near future.
