Xiaomi crowdfunding launches a home workout mat with an imitation ice rink

FED (part of the Xiaomi ecosystem) launched at the Xiaomi Yopin site crowdfunding the training mat Indoor Multifunctional Smart Fat Burning Skating Mat. Its main feature is an imitation of skating: the mat imitates the resistance of ice.

In order for everything to work as it should, you will need to put on special covers from the package on your regular sneakers. The mat is not only suitable for those who are looking for a replacement for the ice rink: the creators also offer a TV application with musical rhythm games adapted to the use of the gadget.

The mat itself is equipped with sensors to track calories burned, steps and workout time. The collected data is transmitted to the smartphone via Bluetooth. The 2,000 mAh battery is enough for 12 days of work (subject to training for 15 minutes daily). For recharging, there is a standard USB-C connector. Such a device weighs a little more than 4 kilograms.

FED Indoor Multifunctional Smart Fat Burning Skating Mat was priced at 299 yuan (≈3,900 rubles). At the time of publication, the project was supported by 540 people - they helped raise 31% of the amount needed for the release.
