The neural network of "Yandex" has learned to generate video in "Masterpiece"

The Masterpiece application now has the ability to generate short videos. They can become the basis for music videos, animations, dynamic social media avatars, and more.

So far, videos are created with a duration of four seconds at a frequency of 24 frames. Once published, they can be shared with friends or saved as MP4.

Everything works the same as with pictures: you need to describe in text what you want to see. In response, the application will offer four options for the first frame and a set of animation effects to create movement. Now there are seven of them: zoom (zoom), time-lapse (fast forward), flight, pan, rotation, lift and morph (gradual change).

The function works in testing mode and is available to active users of Masterpiece in the updated version of the application. The results in the feed are visible to everyone.

Yandex introduced "Masterroom" in April 2023. The service offers a neural network for generating images from a text description, just like Midjourney. The app is available on Android and iOS.
