1. Arrival

Denis Villeneuve's film was nominated for many Oscars, but received a statuette only for Best Editing. The heavy drama only at first glance seems like another movie about the alien invasion, but by the end of the screening it will be hard not to cry.

Movie Lars von Trier With Björk in the title role, it's very hard to watch without the constant sensation of a lump in the throat. Perhaps that is why this devastating drama took the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2000.

Alfonso Cuarón's film was awarded the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. The director took his own childhood and those Problemsthat he had. Roma is full of both good and warm emotions and sadness.
