One of the most interesting features in iOS 8 are considered to be Handoff and Continuity. It is they who have once again shown us that the "ecosystem" of Apple has no direct competitors, and far ahead them, especially when it comes to the use of multiple devices such as iPad and your Mac. Unfortunately, the full version of OS X Yosemite will be available later, so all those who have installed the beta version of the operating system, may experience some problems with the innovations. If you are one of them - read on, perhaps, our advice can help you.
So, if you notice that your iOS-device does not work Handoff and / or ContinuityYou can try to solve these problems by simple manipulations. But before that I would recommend to check the version of your OS X Yosemite and install the latest, if you have not done so.
Now that we have seen in the fact that all have the latest version of the OS, but opportunities are still not working (or not working properly), we can start to solve the problem:
1) Open the "Settings" app on your iPad or iPhone with iOS 8.
2) Select the line "Basic".
3) Scroll to "Handoff and the offer."
4) Turn off and then turn it on again "Handoff" item.
Next, go back to the very beginning of settings. You can either swipe "back" you can go to the top menu, or exit the application.
5) Open the "Settings" and go to step "FaceTime", located near the middle of the menu.
6) Turn off and turn on again select "iPhone Cellular Calls".
7) Restart your iOS-device.
8) Repeat this process with every iOS-device, with whom you would like to use the new features.
9) Finally, make a test call to make sure that the problem is solved.
9b) If the problem still appears, go to the main settings menu and select "Reset" button at the bottom.
9c) In the menu, select "Reset Network Settings". After resetting your device will reboot themselves.
These few simple steps should help you in solving the problem. Most importantly, remember that your device must be running iOS 8, and the device is officially supported. Among supported devices appear on the iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5 and above, iPad Air and iPad 4th generation and iPad mini and iPad mini c screen Retina.
