The data of users of the service of electronic and audio books "LitRes" was leaked to the Network due to a leak. On this drew attention Telegram channel "Information Leaks", and later it confirmed and company representatives.

3,083,408 lines containing names and surnames of users, e-mail addresses and hashed passwords got into free access. The most recent entry is dated August 3, 2023. The full dump contains 97 million lines, the source says.
LitRes recommends that users change the password for their account and also change it wherever the same or similar was. “In the event that any unauthorized actions are committed with user accounts, all of them will be canceled by the service at the request of the client,” the company added.
