In India took place the premiere of the smartphone Poco M6 Pro 5G. The novelty is very similar to the recently released Redmi 12 5G - both in terms of technical parameters and externally.
The gadget received a 6.79-inch IPS screen with Full HD + resolution, a frame rate of 90 Hz and a peak brightness of 550 nits. Protected by Gorilla Glass.
The heart of the smartphone is the SoC Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. Two memory configurations are available - 4/64 GB and 6/128 GB. There's also a microSD slot for expanding storage up to 1TB.
Poco M6 Pro 5G has three cameras - two main cameras with 50 and 2 MP sensors, as well as an 8 MP front camera (it is built into the display).
The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh. It is powered by an 18W charger. Other features include 5G connectivity, an IR blaster, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and IP53 (water and dust resistance) rating.
Out of the box, the smartphone runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13. The manufacturer promises to update the firmware within three years.
The Poco M6 Pro will go on sale in India on August 9th. The standard version was priced at 11,000 rupees (≈13,000 rubles), and the option with more memory will cost 13,000 rupees (≈15,000 rubles). A release in other countries has not yet been announced.
