The creators claim that you can drink from a fountain, a canal, and even a river.
Norwegian startup Vitaloop introduced drinking bottle water Defender. And this is a real self-purifier that will not let you die of thirst even in the wild.
At the heart of the novelty is a five-stage Nanoflow multi-filtration system. The main part of it weeds out bacteria and parasites, the halogen-based cleaner eliminates viruses, and a special activated carbon mesh is responsible for the elimination of heavy metals and chemicals. But the main feature is called the "revolutionary" graphene filter, which removes microplastics. In general, this mechanism eliminates up to 99.999% of unwanted elements.
All you need to do is fill the bottle with water, even from a city fountain or river, and press the self-cleaning button. Immediately after that, a small built-in pump will pump all 480 milliliters that the Defender can hold, and in 45 seconds it will be drinkable. All "garbage" is placed in a separate chamber, which can then be easily cleaned.
It is noted that the built-in battery provides up to 100 self-cleaning cycles (50 liters). There is a USB-C port for charging. The resource of one filter is estimated at 200 liters, after which it will need to be changed.
When the Defender bottle goes on sale has not yet been announced. But on official website companies can already pre-order for $100 (≈9,000 rubles). It is expected that in retail it will cost $160 (≈15,000 rubles). A replacement filter is $35 (≈3,000 rubles).
