How to get rid of caterpillars with the help of special preparations
Using insecticides is the fastest and most effective way to control pests. Funds are of three types. Intestinal ones affect the digestive system of caterpillars, contact ones kill them from the outside, and systemic ones penetrate inside plants, making them poisonous to insects. Also, drugs are divided into chemical (for example, Iskra-M, Inta-Vir, Senpai, Tanrek) and biological (Lepidocid, Nemabakt and Bitoxibacillin).
The principle of working with drugs is similar. It is necessary to prepare a working solution according to the instructions and generously spray the plants, falling on the caterpillars. Do this in dry weather in the morning or in the evening at sunset, so that the drops of the product under the influence of the sun do not burn the foliage. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations on the packaging: consumption rates and frequency of treatments are indicated there. Usually, spraying with biological products should be repeated after about a week, with chemicals - after two.
Please note that after treatment with bioinsecticides, fruits can be eaten in just a few hours. After applying the chemistry harvest will have to be delayed. The exact timing depends on the drug, but on average, the wait will take about 30 days.
