Sony has delayed the release of high-profile new products, including "Spider-Man: Beyond the Universe"

Sony corrected your release schedule. The studio postponed the release of some new products immediately for a year or even postponed it altogether.
So, without a premiere date, the continuation of the cartoon "Spider-Man: Web of Universes”, dubbed “Beyond the universes”. Prior to this, it was assumed that the final of the trilogy will be released in the spring of 2024.
The premiere of the Gran Turismo racing film has been rescheduled from August 11 to August 25, 2023. During these two weeks, the studio hopes to come up with other ways to promote the new product, as starring Orlando Bloom and David Harbor will not be able to participate in the promotional campaign due to actors strike.
Kraven the Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, also got a new release date. The film about the enemy of Spider-Man will be released almost a year later - in August 2024. Next summer, Venom 3 is also expected, which finally got a premiere date.
In addition, the studio has rescheduled the releases of Madame Web, The Karate Kid, and the unnamed sequel to Ghostbusters.

- Gran Turismo - August 25, 2023 (replaced August 11, 2023)
- "Madame Web" - February 14, 2024 (instead of February 16, 2024);
- "Ghostbusters" - March 29, 2024 (instead of December 20, 2023);
- Bad Boys 4 - June 14, 2024 (the film had no release date previously)
- "Venom-3" - July 12, 2024 (the blockbuster was without a premiere date);
- Kraven the Hunter - August 30, 2024 (replaced October 9, 2023)
- Karate Kid - December 13, 2024 (replaced June 7, 2024)
- Spider-Man: Beyond the Universe - undated (instead of March 29, 2024).
Sony has become the first major Hollywood studio to significantly change its premiere calendar due to the SAG-AFTRA strike that began on July 14th. Recall that the actors demand an increase in fees and restrictions on the use of artificial intelligence in the production of films.
