Netflix showed the trailer of the mini-series "Depp vs. Heard"

Netflix has shared the trailer for the Depp vs. Heard miniseries, directed by documentary filmmaker Emma Cooper (Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Recordings).

The show tells in detail about the high-profile trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp in the case of defamation - the actress accused her ex-husband of domestic violence. The writers call the series an in-depth exploration of what has been called the first "TikTok lawsuit."

Recall that this court battle lasted from April 11 to June 1, 2022 and was broadcast live on the Web - more than 200 hours of video recordings of the process were shown. During this time, the film industry managed to cancel the performer Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean, but after his victory, the studios again began to offer the actor roles. Depp's first work after the trial was the film "Jeanne Dubarry", which is now shown in Russia.

The premiere of the mini-series "Depp vs. Heard" will take place on August 16. The show will consist of three episodes.
