In India announced boAt Smart Ring is a ceramic and metal smart ring that will help you keep track of your health. Inside there are sensors for heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO2), body temperature, plus additional trackers for tracking sleep.

Such a ring can replace a basic fitness bracelet: it can track steps, distance traveled and calories burned. In the smartphone companion app, you can set activity goals and receive notifications when you reach them. You can also swim with the ring: the case is waterproof up to 5 ATM.

The manufacturer claims that the sleep tracking accuracy of such a ring is higher than that of smartphones or smart watches. The gadget is capable of tracking sleep duration, patterns, different stages (REM, deep, light) and sleep disturbances. The tracker of the menstrual cycle with forecasting the next monthly period is also present.

In addition to tracking health and activity, the ring will also be able to work as a controller for compatible devices. Its surface is touch-sensitive, and the user can control a smartphone or computer with one hand. True, the list of these compatible devices has not yet been disclosed.
