A universal model that is equally suitable for both iPhone and Android smartphones.
Apple-owned company Beats has unveiled new headphones - Studio Pro. This is the first flagship model since 2017. Outwardly, it resembles Studio 3, but in terms of performance it greatly surpasses it.
The Beats Studio Pro headphones received 40mm custom drivers. According to the manufacturer, they reproduce sound with almost zero distortion even at high volumes. The ear cushions combine memory foam and seamless leather.
There is an Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system that has been improved with a new array of six microphones. A transparency mode that wasn't available in Studio 3 is also available, as is support for dynamic head tracking for spatial audio.
It uses Bluetooth 5.3 for connection, but also supports wired playback using the included 3.5mm cable. In addition, the Studio Pro is the first Apple headphone to support lossless audio playback via USB Type-C.
In wireless mode, the autonomy of Beats Studio Pro reaches 40 hours without ANC and 24 hours with it. A quick 10-minute recharge will provide at least 5 hours of music listening.
In terms of software functions, the headphones have also become more versatile, now they support not only adding to an iCloud account, call Siri and Latitude, but also Google Fast Pair for quick pairing with Android devices, as well as Google Find My Device (“Find device").
Cost of Beats Studio Pro amounted to 350 dollars (≈32,200 rubles). Headphones are available for order in the US in four colors: sand, dark blue, brown and classic black. Release dates in other countries have not yet been announced.
