What happens if you accidentally swallow a jellyfish
Official medicine has no answer to this question. Perhaps because this is some kind of rare anecdotal situation.
However, in an Australian magazine (and where else?) we found a mention that a teenager hospitalizedwhen he swallowed poisonous jellyfish.
Therefore, if you accidentally ate a jellyfish, monitor your condition and, just in case, call the medical helpline at 122. There you will be better advised what to do.
What happens if you deliberately eat a jellyfish
It turns out that in Asian countries are eating not only bats, but also jellyfish. As a rule, they are slightly salty, but in general the taste will depend on the spices. Most often, jellyfish are dried or deep-fried.
When buying an exotic delicacy, keep in mind that out of 2,000 species of jellyfish, only 11 are safe for humans. The carcass must be carefully processed from bacteria, so it is better not to take anything from the hands in the market.
