LG Electronics plans to increase annual revenue from the current $51 billion to nearly $79 billion by 2030. To do this, the company intends enter paid subscriptions to their products and create a Home as a Service platform with personalized features in home appliances.
The business plan is to further expand the ThinQ UP range, which now includes smart dishwashers, refrigerators and ovens. You can control these devices from your smartphone through a special application.
According to the idea, if the owner wants to receive new features, then for this he will need to issue a package that provides access to updates. Thus, he will be able to regularly expand the capabilities of household appliances.
