The neural network literally completed the video sequence with a static background - and it turned out incredible. Bonus - "Star Wars" and "Blade Runner 2049".
TikTok user Chris Bell decided experiment with the function generative fill Photoshop by expanding famous footage from The Lord of the Rings. So the usual widescreen video was turned into a vertical one - ideal for viewing on a smartphone.
Don't forget to turn on the sound.

AI did not change or remove anything from the original, but only added to the top and bottom of the frame, filling in the dark areas. With such a fill, the most epic scenes became even more epic, and shots with natural landscapes sparkled with completely new colors.
Here's an even cooler one published Later.

It looks like this is a new online trend that may soon affect many other cult films and series. So far, errors and rough details can be noticed in such finishing, but with the development of generative fill technology, the quality of such videos will only improve. Neural networks are progressing too fast. Do you agree?
