Microsoft to End Support for Original Windows 11 in October 2023
Miscellaneous / / July 12, 2023
It's time to upgrade to a newer OS.
Microsoft reminded users that support for Windows 11 version 21H2 will end on October 10, 2023. From this date, it will no longer receive updates with bug fixes, security improvements, and new features.
This is the very first version of Windows 11. It was released in the fall of 2021 in Home, Pro, Pro for Workstations and Pro Education versions.
For those still using it, the company recommends visiting Windows Update and installing the newer 22H2 package for free. And before the end of the year, she promises to release version 23H2, with which customers will receive a number of notable functional improvements.
However, the end of support for Windows 11 21H2 will not affect users of Windows 10 22H2 in any way. This version will be supported for another two years, but users should not expect new feature updates or major system changes.
