The Nothing Phone (2) smartphone is introduced. You can already pre-order in Russia

Nothing officially introduced your new smartphone Nothing Phone (2). The novelty is very similar to predecessor, but offers several significant improvements.

So, the device now has a slightly convex rear glass panel. Thanks to this, it has become more convenient to use, the manufacturer notes.

The proprietary Glyph interface now consists of 11 segmented LED strips with 33 backlight zones instead of Nothing Phone's 12 (1). And now it offers new use cases for notifications, volume control, and charging indication.

Nothing Phone (2) received a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. Both sides of the smartphone are protected by Gorilla Glass.

There are still two main cameras: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with an ƒ / 1.88 aperture and ultra wide-angle Samsung JN1 with ƒ / 2.2 aperture. Front camera 32 MP, it is located in the hole in the center of the screen.

The heart of the gadget is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The amount of RAM can be 8 or 12 GB, and built-in - 128, 256 or 512 GB, depending on the modification.

The smartphone is powered by a 4,700 mAh battery with support for 45 W wired charging, 15 W wireless and 5 W reverse charging. The device runs on Android 13 with the Nothing OS 2.0 shell, which adds new widgets, theme colors, folder layouts and covers to the system.

Nothing Phone (2) is available in two colors - light and dark. Sales around the world will start on July 17, but pre-orders are already open, including in Russia. On site "Eldorado" version 12 / 256 GB costs 79,999 rubles, and the top version 12 / 512 GB - 89,999 rubles. Abroad, this is 700 and 800 dollars, respectively (≈63,200 and 72,200 rubles). The most affordable version 8/256 GB will cost $600 (≈54,200 rubles).

The Eldorado website also notes that if you place an order before July 31, you can get headphones as a gift Nothing Ear (2) in new black. And this is a really interesting proposal.
