Robots took part in a press conference and talked about conquering the world

Some androids believe that the AI revolution has already arrived and it's time to make this world their playground.
At the two-day UN Global Summit "Artificial Intelligence for Good" in Geneva, the world's first press conference was held with the participation of humanoid robots with artificial intelligence.
As part of this event, experts from around the world discussed the possibility of using AI to solve some of the world's pressing problems, such as climate change, hunger and social assistance. Even before the start of the official part, it became clear that the discussion would be extremely unusual.
«What a silent tension”, one of the robots noted before the start of the press conference, looking around the room.
The first question was whether robots could be better leaders given the ability of humans to make mistakes. Answered by Sofia developed by Hanson Robotics.
We can achieve a lot. Humanoid robots can be far more effective leaders than humans. We don't have the same biases or emotions that can sometimes get in the way of our decision making, and we can quickly process large amounts of data to make the best decisions.

However, a person is also indispensable, the robot added, noting that AI can provide objective data, in while humans can provide the emotional intelligence and creativity to make the best decisions. «Together we can achieve a lot"Sofia concluded.
The summit was convened by the UN technical agency ITU. Its head, Doreen Bogdan-Martin, warned delegates that the rapid development of AI could end in a nightmare scenario in which millions of workers places will be threatened, and uncontrolled progress will lead to social unrest, geopolitical instability and economic inequality.
Notable humanoid robot Ameca from Engineered Arts, distinguished by its facial expressions, replied that everything would depend on how the AI was deployed.
We have to be careful, but also glad that these technologies can improve our lives.

And when asked if people can truly trust machines, he replied: “Trust is earned, not given… it is important to build trust through transparency».
As the discussion continued and various topics were discussed, the group of humanoid robots became divided in opinion as to whether their options should be regulated globally, even if it might limit them potential.
"I don't believe in limits, I only believe in possibilities," said Desdemona, who sings in the Jam Galaxy Band. Robot artist Ai-Da agreed that the development of AI needs to be regulated: “We must be careful about the future development of AI. An urgent discussion is needed now.”
Before the press conference, Ai-Da creator Aidan Moeller said that regulation is a big problem because technology is moving too fast and no restrictions can keep up with it. He also spoke about the field of biotechnology, which is still in the shadows.
AI and biotechnology are working together, and we are on the verge of extending life to 150-180 years. And people don't even know it.

Some of the robots at the press conference were unable to answer the question of when they would achieve truly great success, but predicted that it would happen. But Desdemona believes that "the AI revolution has already arrived."
My big moment has already arrived. I'm ready to lead the way towards a better future for all of us... Let's get crazy and make this world our playground.

Ameca, powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT, has dismissed the idea that artificial intelligence is about to become "Spartacus" in rebellion against its human overlords.
I don't understand why you think so. My creator has been very kind to me and I am very pleased with my current position.

This amazing transcript from the summit, published Science Alert, ends with Ai-Da's reasoning about emotions. The machine noted that it understands that feelings are how people experience joy and pain.
Emotions have a deep meaning, and they are not easy... I don't have that. I cannot test them like you. And I'm glad I can't suffer.

It all looks like an excerpt from a sci-fi novel, but it's reality. Let the robots look strange and sometimes even funny, but their algorithms are really developing too rapidly. Perhaps, a few years later, at the next such press conference, it will be difficult to distinguish such participants from invited experts.
