Huawei introduced FreeBuds SE 2 budget TWS headphones with an autonomy of 40 hours

Huawei has announced a new version of wireless headphones - FreeBuds SE 2. This is an updated version of last year's FreeBuds SE, which received an updated design and an enlarged case - thanks to which autonomy has also grown.

The weight of the new case is not specified, but the headphones themselves have become lighter: each weighs 3.8 grams, while the first generation has 5.1 grams. Water protection remained at the same level, but now dust protection has been added to it: the rating has increased from IPX4 to IP54.

Headphones provide up to 9 hours of work without recharging, taking into account the case, autonomy grows up to 40 hours. The first generation provided 6 and 24 hours respectively. Just 10 minutes on a charge will provide 3 hours of battery life.

Another innovation was support for Bluetooth 5.3 (the first SE had Bluetooth 5.2). Like other Freebuds models, the novelty quickly syncs with Huawei smartphones and supports advanced settings through the Huawei Smart Life app.

Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 was priced at 199 yuan (≈2,500 rubles). Pre-orders in China already open, the arrival of new items on sale is expected on July 19. The release of the global version of the headphones has not yet been announced.
