Lenovo has patented a laptop with a retractable webcam, which is also a stylus

Chinese company Lenovo received a patent for a laptop with multiple retractable cameras, one of which can be used as a webcam and a stylus at the same time.

The solution allows you to adjust the height of the accessory, which, in theory, should improve the comfort during video calls - the lens can be installed directly at eye level. In addition, it will remember the user's preferences and configure itself when launching applications for calls.

The document also describes a special adjustable extension that can slide out from either side of the screen. You can also attach a camera to it. There is no other information in the patent, but the presence of a stylus indicates that, among other things, the laptop will have a touch screen.

However, it is worth remembering that the registration of a patent does not mean the imminent release of the device described in it. Often the idea remains only on paper. With full confidence, we can only say that the company is considering the possibility of releasing such a gadget.
