Honor X50 unveiled with 120Hz screen and 5800mAh battery

In China passed presentation of inexpensive smartphone Honor X50. The company claims that it is "drop resistant from ten sides", including the screen, which is protected by curved edges.

Honor X50 received a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (2652 x 1200 pixels), a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a frame rate of 120 Hz. Under the screen is a fingerprint scanner.

The main camera consists of a 108 MP module (Samsung HM6) and a 2 MP depth sensor. The front camera embedded in the screen has 8 megapixels.

The novelty is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The software shell is MagicOS 7.1.1 based on Android 13. Two configurations of the smartphone will be available - with 8 GB of RAM / 128 GB of flash memory and with 16 GB of RAM / 512 GB of flash memory.

Responsible for autonomy is a 5800 mAh battery with support for 35 W fast charging. On a single charge, the smartphone can work up to 20 hours of video playback and up to 9 hours of gaming.

Honor X50 received protection against moisture (IP53). Its thickness is 7.98 millimeters and its weight is 185 grams.

The smartphone will be available in four colors - orange, blue, black and iridescent white. The basic version was priced at $193 (≈17,000 rubles), the top one will cost $276 (≈25,000 rubles). On Wednesday, July 5th, on website The company will already be able to pre-order, and open sales will begin on July 14. A release outside of China has not been announced.
