Onyx launches Boox Tab Mini C with E-Ink and Android 11

Onyx introduced compact tablet reader Boox Tab Mini C. It received a 7.8-inch screen with E-Ink Kaleido 3 color electronic ink. Such a screen is capable of displaying 4096 shades of colors.
The display has a resolution of 1872 × 1404 pixels in black and white mode (pixel density 300 ppi), but in color mode the resolution drops to 936 × 702 pixels (150 ppi density). Backlight is present, it is possible to adjust the brightness and temperature.
The gadget is compatible with the Boox Pen 2 Plus stylus, which allows you to sketch and add comments to PDF. When not in use, the stylus can be attached to the right side of the tablet - it has a built-in magnet.
Responsible for performance is an 8-core Qualcomm processor, which is complemented by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. There are also stereo speakers and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless headphones and other accessories.
The tablet runs on Android 11 with a custom Boox OS shell and supports Google Play. It comes preloaded with Neoreader, Boox's own development, but it can be replaced with any other app from the store.
Onyx Boox Tab Mini C is already on sale for $450 (≈38,200 rubles). The package includes a case and a stylus.
