The study showed who receives the highest salaries in Russian cities

The highest paid specialists in Russia turned out to be Moscow bankers and Murmansk fishermen. About it says in a large study of the labor market by RIA Novosti.

Statistics for individual cities showed the following data:

• In the first place in terms of wages, the financial services sector in Moscow, where specialists receive an average of 227 thousand rubles a month.
• The sphere of fishing, agriculture and forestry in Murmansk is on the second line. There, workers can claim about 200 thousand rubles a month.
• In third place is the IT and telecommunications industry in Moscow with a salary of 192 thousand rubles.
• Fishermen in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky have a close figure - 190 thousand per month.
• Mining industry employees in Surgut can receive 177,000 rubles a month.
• Specialists of "professional and scientific activities" (audit, law, accounting, architecture, land use, technical testing, certification, etc.) in Moscow - about 166 thousand rubles.

• Fishermen of Vladivostok - 150 thousand rubles.
• The list is closed by energy workers in Surgut with an average salary of 128 thousand rubles.

According to the study, in 2022, salaries in Russia increased by an average of 14.1%, in the first quarter of 2023, the growth was an additional 2.6%. In monetary terms, salaries as of April 1, 2023 were on average 8,000 rubles more than as of January 1, 2022 (57,000, taking into account the payment of personal income tax, against 49,000).

In 21 cities, the best industry in it provides average salaries above 100 thousand. In eight cities, even in the most profitable areas in the region, people for the most part cannot earn more than 50 thousand, and in seven more - less than 55 thousand rubles.

A year earlier, wages of less than 50 thousand in the leading industry were observed in 16 cities. The last places in the ranking are occupied by: Elista, Kirov, Saransk, Sterlitamak, Tambov, Maikop, Tolyatti and Vladikavkaz.
