NASA reveals stunning sea level rise

And this is just 30 years.
NASA Scientific Visualization Studio showed video showing sea level rise since 1993, when the agency's satellites began tracking changes.
The video was created in such a way that the viewers feel like passengers of the ship, looking out the cabin porthole. So it is better to realize the scale, the authors of the work note.
So, only in the last 30 years, sea level has risen by 9.85 centimeters. Although the figure itself seems insignificant, NASA says it is "unprecedented in the past 2,500 years."
Scientists associate what is happening with human activity, which led to global warming. And note: the trend in the near future will destructive impact to a huge number of coastal communities around the world, not to mention the natural environment. Unfortunately, there are few signs yet that this will stop soon, they conclude.
