Xiaomi has released a new 43-inch TV: almost frameless and cheaper than 10 thousand rubles

Xiaomi released in China, a new budget TV called Xiaomi TV EA43 2023. As the name suggests, this is an updated version previous EA43. It retains the low price tag of the previous model, but features higher performance.

Like the EA43 2022, the new model offers a 43-inch 1080p screen with a metal frame. The display-to-body ratio is 96.7%: the bezels are really minimal. The panel supports a refresh rate of 60Hz and offers a 178° viewing angle. HDR is not here.

Responsible for performance is an unnamed 4-core 64-bit processor, complemented by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. An upgrade from the 2-core Amlogic chipset in the previous version added support for dual band Wi-Fi. For a wired connection, there are two HDMI ports, two USD ports, as well as AV, S/PDIF, Ethernet, and antenna connector. Bluetooth module is present.

It uses a stereo system of two speakers of 8 watts. The TV comes with MUI for TV 3.0, which supports smart home control and app downloads. There is also an office mode (in fact, duplicating the screen of a PC or laptop).

Xiaomi TV EA43 2023 was priced at 799 yuan (≈9,400 rubles). It has already gone on sale in China, the release of the international version has not yet been reported.
