Mix warm milk with vinegar or lemon juice, leave for 5-7 minutes. Beat the butter with a mixer with sugar into a light fluffy mass.
Without turning off the mixer, alternately add eggs to the butter, beat for 4-5 minutes. Add milk and vanilla extract, beat until smooth.
Instead of milk with vinegar or lemon juice, you can take the same volume of buttermilk or low-fat kefir.
Mix flour with baking powder, cocoa and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
Add food coloring to the mass, mix again. Divide the dough evenly over the molds. Put them on a baking sheet.
Bake the cakes for 40-45 minutes in a preheated oven. Then take them out of the molds, put them on a wire rack and cool completely.
Set aside 3-4 strawberries. Cut the remaining berries into thin slices. Trim the cakes with a knife, chop the trimmings into crumbs.
Lubricate the first cake with cream, put strawberry slices and the second cake on top, repeat the layers. Coat the top and sides of the cake with cream, decorate it with crumbs and berries, put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
