Microsoft has opened pre-orders for the updated Xbox Series S, which was officially presented a few days ago. The console supports all new generation games.
The prefix received the coloring of Carbon Black with a matte finish and a whole terabyte of memory, which is twice as much as white version. At the same time, it is only $50 more expensive (≈4,000 rubles). Considering that a 512 GB Seagate Expansion Card external drive costs $90 (≈7,000 rubles), buying a console with 1 TB of memory right away is more profitable.
It turns out that Series X for $500, there's no longer a storage advantage—both models deliver terabytes right out of the box. However, they still have a difference in resolution and power. Therefore, the high price of the older model still justifies itself.
The black version of the Xbox Series S costs $350 (≈29,000 rubles). The console will go on sale on September 1, but now on the company's website you can design pre-order.
