What do you do in your spare time, what do you post on social media or how much do you earn?
According to the results of a new study from Yandex Rent, homeowners who rent it out are primarily interested in the bad habits of potential tenants. For 53.4% โโof respondents, this is one of the main criteria. Next, with a small margin - the presence of pets (53.3%) and the main profile of the tenant: age, gender and nationality (37.8%).
It is also important for the landlord who the potential tenant is going to live with (36.6%) and where he studies or works (31.5%). At the same time, respondents give preference to doctors, IT-specialists, financiers and lawyers. It is noteworthy that candidates with pets would suit 60% of respondents, and in some cases, a description and photo of animals would even increase the chances of getting housing.
The most unpopular questions that may be of interest to landlords turned out to be related to the tenant's leisure time and his content on social networks - both categories have less than 5%.
