Guinness World Records finds dog with longest tongue

A dog named Zoe from the US state of Louisiana is officially recognized as the owner of the longest tongue among living dogs - 12.7 cm. The record was recorded by veterinarians and representatives of the Guinness Book of Records.
The previous record was held by a dog Bisbee setter breed with tongue 9.49 cm. Zoe is a mix between a Labrador and a German Shepherd.
Her owners, Sadie and Drew Williams, took the dog in when she was six weeks old. As a child, Zoe's tongue often protruded from her mouth. The owners thought that she would grow up and everything would fall into place, but nothing changed over time. Passers-by often commented “what a long tongue your dog has,” the owners added.
From time to time, when we take her for a walk, people come up to her and want to pet her. We warn them ahead of time, "Hey, she's friendly, but she might salivate at you," and she'll do that from time to time, and they'll have a big saliva mark on their black trousers.

Mistress Zoya
Zoe enjoys being outdoors, fetching balls, chasing squirrels, driving and swimming. But she also hates taking baths. Fortunately, a big tongue does not prevent her from enjoying life.
