Apple reveals iPadOS 17 with new lock screen and interactive widgets

Tablets will finally be able to track multiple timers at the same time.
Together with iOS 17 today introduced an update for the Apple tablet system.
Widgets are finally interactive. You can now make changes and run commands directly from the main screen without launching the application itself.
Like on the iPhone, the lock screen can now be personalized: choose the right photo, customize the font for displaying the date and time, add the right widgets.
Live Activities have also been added to the lock screen - and now on the tablet it will finally be possible to track several timers at the same time.
Like expectediPadOS 17 introduced the Health app for the iPad. It will show interactive graphs about the user's health status. Developers will have access to HealthKit for iPad.
Another change has affected the work with PDF. Now this format is supported in Notes, you can add annotations with Apple Pencil without leaving the application.
The iPad will also be able to auto-complete PDF files, including documents added by scanning with the camera.
The Freeform app will get new drawing tools and an additional collaboration mode.
iPadOS 17 is expected to release in the fall along with iOS 17. The list of compatible devices has not yet been disclosed.
