Follow your curiosity
I have no special talents. I'm just very curious.
Of course, Albert Einstein is a bit poskromnichal in the assessment of their talents. But he did so only with a view to again emphasize the role of curiosity in our lives.
Without constant traction to all new, without the desire to know the unknown anyone even has a powerful mind and a great wealth of knowledge, turns into a boring archive information. On the other hand, in the history of many examples where researchers, losing competitors in Education or available equipment, made brilliant discoveries only because of its all-consuming curiosity.
perseverance is priceless
It's not that I'm the smartest. The fact that I spend more time solving problems.
Einstein was not the first prominent scientist, which emphasizes the crucial role of persistence and perseverance in achieving results. It is the ability to go all the way - do not turn away from the intended path despite the dozens of failures and failures - is a common feature of those people whose portraits look at us from the pages of textbooks and encyclopedias. It is this different from hundreds of other scientists, writers, athletes, travelers who have turned to the middle of the road and did not reach the goal.
make a bad break
A person who never made a mistake, simply never tried to achieve something new.
This statement does not mean that the more you make mistakes, will be successful. Einstein simply tells us that we should not be afraid of mistakes and treat them as a disaster of his life. Any investigation involves at some point receive incorrect results. Any action can be difficult. Either way implies the existence of a fork.
We do not always choose the right decisions, but that is no reason to turn back.
Create value
Strive to be the most successful and the most valuable.
Most people perceive the word "success" through the prism of his official position and material well-being. This is partly true, because often the money is the measure of our efforts. But what about those artists, scientists, writers, businessmen, whose genius, no one doubts, but who have remained poor like church mice?
Einstein offers us a different measurement system, in which the main criterion of success is the one value that the person poses to others. It is meant not only material or scientific measure them, but the whole complex of moral, ethical, religious, philosophical changes that this or that person has on the world around us.
Knowledge come from experience
Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience.
Each of us has ever met people who are absolute authority in his field. These words are always heard, they want to emulate, for their presence in his State of the best companies compete. What distinguishes them from the hundreds of other, often much more educated and bright people?
The answer is - experience. That experience makes yesterday's graduates in the professional. It can be comprehensively educated, brilliantly erudite theorist, but it is completely helpless and useless for a real man to do if your knowledge is not backed up by years of practice.
Know the rules, it helps to win
You must learn the rules of the game. And only after that will be able to play better than anyone else.
It is ridiculous to hear it from a man, a scientist who has destroyed his discoveries all possible rules and scientific axioms. However, in these words there is a lot of sense.
We all obey certain rules, whether we like it or not. We can try to deny it, we can try to ignore them, but to no good but a waste of energy, it will not. Existing rules should be respected, they must be carefully examined and used for their own benefit. And the only one who has become a master of the rules, will eventually break them and refute. After all, ridiculous to suggest that Einstein started to create his revolutionary scientific theories, without further study of all existing at the moment of physical axioms, is not it?
Imagination is everything
Imagination allows us to look beyond the horizon of everyday life. Imagination is more important than knowledge.
When it comes to imagination, it seems to many that this quality is only necessary for children and adults serious people's imagination completely useless. A profound error.
Imagination is needed in all human activities: learning, work, work, sports require you not only knowledge and experience but also the ability to imagine the consequences of their actions and the desired result. The writer creates a story in your mind works, the composer - music notation drawing future hit, the designer comes up with new components and devices. And the better a person developed imagination, the more he can rise above the surrounding reality, the bolder it will try and brighter horizons achievements.
