Increase your productivity: work in a rush, but periods
Tips Productivity / / December 19, 2019
Sometimes you think you've done nothing for the whole working day. This problem is not uncommon. The number of members in the mail is growing constantly pop up some messages and colleagues and strive to interrupt your workflow. When we work with a few minutes here, a few minutes there, we study all of the surface, without delving into the essence of things. I want to offer you a simple strategy that will allow to carry out more work at the same time delving into the process.
To begin with the question:
How to achieve their optimal level of efficiency?
The first step is to understand how the results change while working on the task. When we come to the solution of any issue, we get a certain return. But at some point performance (and therefore our performance) begins to fall, because we are starting to get tired or psychologically and no longer able to be productive, or we need the results of someone else before we can continue its.
So it all sounds in theory, but in practice? In life, we should just start to fulfill the task, we have something definitely distracting. When the focus is not obtained, our productivity is reduced to zero. And so all the time. During the whole day. What can you do - this is our life in the modern world.
How can stay focused on the job?
First of all, start the day with a definition of what you intend to do, and what should be done by the end of the working day. Planning guarantee that we dot the `i`. Do not start the day with a raking mail blockages. Instead, stop for a minute or two and think about what is really important and necessary - what you want to do for the day. Then place in the list compiled by task manager or just write down in a notebook.
You need to stay focused long enough to get to the work, including creative and get a decent result. Depending on the job to execute it may take 15 minutes, or maybe 30, and even a few hours. Once you've done something significant, stop focusing on this, switch to another mission: dismantle the mail, make the necessary phone calls, discuss operational issues with colleagues. This is the joint work, where our team productivity is realized.
Once it is time to take a break: go do something that inspires you and energizes to gain strength before the new Focus stage. If your workflow is not optimized, you will not achieve significant productivity growth and no significant results and achievements. Try to stick to the strategy described above: focus, teamwork, fun.
Work rush
The approach described above allows you to manage your working time and energy more intelligently. It activates your energy and accumulates them to achieve results.
So, switch between focus, team work and leisure. In each period, try to get into state of flux and be as active. And each worker has to rush to anticipate and stimulate productivity surge in a subsequent period.
