Android 14 will let you drag and drop files and text between apps

You don't need to split the screen.
It seems that with the release of Android 14, Google is going to bring multitasking capabilities closer to what Apple offers its users. With iOS 16, you can quickly drag and drop files between open apps, and Android will offer a similar capability in an upcoming update.
How noticed Editors of the Google News Telegram channel, Android 14 beta allows you to pinch a text or file with one finger, then use the other finger to switch to another application. If you continue to hold the file at the same time, it will also go to another window, where it can be added to the text input field or file upload.

Previously, to drag and drop files between applications, you had to enable split-screen, which might not be very convenient for copying and pasting a single file.
