They should reduce the amount of data passively transmitted by the browser to third parties and essentially change the way ads are targeted on websites.
Three years later, Google is finally ready to move to the new standard. Privacy Sandbox support will arrive this summer in Chrome 115. However, at first, the option will be available only to a limited number of testers. And in the first quarter of 2024, it will spread to 1% of browser users.
