Poll: For what services do you usually turn to private professionals?

Avito Services, together with the ORO research agency, analyzed the Russian services market. They found that about 13.9 million people across the country — or one in six people of working age — work in this industry. For the year from April 2022 to March 2023, Russians made 4.1 billion orders.

At the same time, the main volume of orders and revenue falls on private performers and micro-businesses, three-quarters of service providers are private traders. At the same time, such specialists most often use Avito: 54% of performers attract clients with its help. Also among the popular platforms are VKontakte (44%), Telegram (27%) and WhatsApp (22%).

Construction (24%) and custom-made (18%) became the main areas in terms of revenue of performers. At the same time, most performers are in the areas of beauty and health (13%), training and tutors (11%), business services (10%), as well as repair of premises and minor repairs (10%).

But orders are most in the category of transport services - 28% of the total number or 1.144 billion orders. In second place is beauty and health (20% or 829 million orders).

Thus, construction and custom-made products bring the most money to contractors, while orders for delivery and transportation predominate numerically.
