Google Drive finally has a spam folder

To the sidebar "Google Drive» added spam folder, which was announced also at the I/O 2023 conference. Sorting of unwanted files appeared 20 years after the launch of the service.

Disk now has spam filters that automatically qualify content. You can also manually send any file to a new folder. This works similarly to emails in Gmail.

Updating is not only automatic cleanse file sharing, but will also limit the ability of random people to add files to your account without your consent or control. This will make the service more secure.

Previously, the general content in Google Drive was not checked in any way, as a result, many users could find other people's photos or even porn, various advertisements, and so on. All that could be done in such a situation was to turn off notifications and ignore the Shared Files folder. Now the service should automatically send this kind of content to Spam.
