Production on The Last of Us season 2 suspended due to writers' strike

Work on continuation series The Last of Us is on hiatus due to the Writers Guild of America strike. How learned about Variety, showrunners Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin are actively involved in the strike.

Sources said that the second season still does not have a finished script. The production was at the casting level, with guest actors reading lines from The Last of Us: Part 2.
