Including Xiaomi, OPPO and OnePlus.
At the Google I / O conference, the second beta version of Android 14 was presented. Unlike the first, which was only compatible with current Google Pixels, the second adds support for Google partners. These nine companies are: OPPO, iQOO, Realme, Lenovo, Tecno, Nothing, Vivo and Xiaomi.
Like the first beta, this update is aimed primarily at developers. It is not recommended for regular users to install it due to potential bugs that can affect the daily use of the device.
Android 14 adds HDR support for video recording, as well as Ultra HDR to preserve the full dynamic range of images. This should give more options for post-processing photos.
Another innovation was the ability to shoot with a slower shutter speed to get high-quality photos in low light.
The update also offers more granular control over location data and transmission. For audiophiles, we added support for Lossless audio when using USB headphones.
