Google told about the Pixel Tablet, which will come with a docking station

As part of Google I / O, the company showed three devices: affordable Pixel 7a, folding flagship Pixel Fold and a Pixel Tablet. The latter was first demonstrated back in 2022, but it was only now told in detail about it. Choose the main one.

• The tablet is powered by the proprietary Tensor G2 chip, just like the Pixel 7 series smartphones. The processor is complemented by 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 128 or 256 GB UFS 3.1 drive.
• The screen is 10.95-inch with an IPS-matrix, a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, a brightness of 500 nits and stylus support.

• There is a fingerprint scanner, it is in the power button, not in the screen.
• Front and rear cameras 8 megapixels. Both can record 1080p video at 30 frames per second, which will be enough for video calls.

• The tablet supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and UWB.
• The manufacturer promises 12 hours of battery life and 5 years of OS updates.
• Device dimensions: 258×169×8.1 mm. Weight - 493 grams.

• The Pixel Tablet comes with a magnetic Charging Speaker Dock with a built-in speaker. It makes the gadget a convenient home screen for managing other devices.

• Support tablet technology Google Cast allows you to stream content. For example, you can output music or video from another device.

The Pixel Tablet costs $499 (≈38,000 rubles) for the 128GB version. Separately, for $79 (≈6,000 rubles) you can buy a case with a metal leg. In the US, the tablet is already available for pre-order.
