1. Pineapple Express: Sitting Smoking

A lazy clerk witnesses a murder. In fright, the man asks for help from his friend, with whom he had just become close. Together, the heroes realize that they are easy to track down and decide to leave as far as possible. But they still have to fight, including in order to prove their friendship.
The picture from Seth Rogen and Jud Apatow starring young James Franco was released in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the audience. Minor characters are played Amber Heard, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson. It turned out to be an excellent comedy, striking with absurdity in every dialogue.

Sacha Baron Cohen's controversial comedy Borat was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Adapted Screenplay category, but didn't win as expected. The picture is still remembered - many consider it offensive. Second part, released in 2020, turned out to be less bright.

The comedy from Ben Stiller with him in the title role was released in the very early 2000s. Recently, one of the scenes turned into a meme - the one in which Ben Stiller looks in surprise at Owen Wilson, who came to the fashion show. The sequel turned out to be less funny, but still interesting: Justin Bieber and Sting starred in it.
4. Hangover

Three friends and the bride's brother board a convertible for a 24-hour bachelor party in Las Vegas. The next day they wake up and realize that they do not remember anything, and the groom is gone. The cult comedy The Hangover received two sequels, and in many countries the same plot was turned into new films. However, the first part remained the best comedy on the topic βWhat did I do last night and why donβt I remember anything about it?β
5. Soldiers of failure

Cult actors are filming in a big-budget military action movie. Together with cards and rifles, they are sent to the jungle. Things don't go according to plan when it turns out that the set has become the scene of actual combat. At the same time, the actors do not know where they are, and therefore they simply play their roles.
This 2000s American comedy starred Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr.. The latter was even nominated for an Oscar in the category "Best Supporting Actor" - he played an actor who changed his skin color for new career challenges. It is unlikely that such a film can come out now.
6. SuperPeppers

Two high school friends receive an invitation to a farewell party. This came as a surprise to them - cool classmates usually do not communicate with them. The main goal of the heroes is to bring alcohol, which they still cannot buy. They have to stand outside the store for hours to find an adult to help.
Starring Michael Cera and Jonah Hill. Seth Rogen, Bill Hader and Emma Stone also appear in the film. It turned out to be a funny and quite original film about teenagers.
7. Eurotour

A group of Americans decides to take a trip to Europe before going to college. One of them, Scott, wants to meet a pen pal who lives in Berlin. From the very beginning, the trip does not go according to plan. The route changes, and therefore friends are forced to find themselves in countries that they did not know about before.
"Eurotour" eventually began to be considered classic comedy. The fees were extremely small, but the picture sold well on physical media and gained a well-deserved audience. Now the film is nostalgic, especially in Russia: it was often shown on TV.

This mid-2000s American comedy starred Steve Carell. The 40 Year Old Virgin is the first film directed by Judd Apatow. It turned out funny, but at the same time a very kind picture.

The cult movie starring Lindsay Lohan has become one of the main films of the 2000s. The film also stars Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Tina Fey. A classic comedy about high school students who fall in love, suffer from teenage problems, but still find a way out of difficult situations.
