Ulefone has released a budget smartphone Note 16 Pro with moisture protection

The Chinese manufacturer Ulefone, known for its rugged smartphones, has released a new model with a more elegant design. Ulefone Note 16 Pro is a budget yet durable smartphone.
It uses a 6.52-inch HD+ display and a Unisoc T606 processor. It's not the most powerful chipset on the market, but it should be enough for everyday tasks. 8 GB of RAM, but the system allows you to reallocate up to 8 GB of internal memory to RAM to cope with more difficult tasks. Of course, it will work slower than standard RAM.
The main camera is similar in design to the Redmi Note 12 line. It uses a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 main sensor. The second module is not disclosed: it is probably a depth sensor. The front camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels.
The Ulefone Note 16 Pro also packs a 4,400mAh battery that should last a day with moderate use. USB-C is used for charging, there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The microSD card slot allows you to expand the memory up to 256 GB. Out of the box, the smartphone runs on Android 13.
Although this model is not as armored as the Armor series, the manufacturer still positions it as protected. Its flat-edged body is said to withstand drops and bumps. IP68 protection against dust and moisture is also declared: the smartphone must survive immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
Ulefone Note 16 Pro was priced at $140 (≈10,800 rubles). The novelty has already appeared on AliExpress, where it can be ordered from May 10 for $102 (the price in rubles will depend on the AliExpress exchange rate).
