HMD, which owns the rights to release mobile devices under the Nokia brand, has introduced a secure smartphone XR21. He lost some of his benefits. predecessor, however, became much stronger.

The emphasis in the novelty is on the indestructibility, which the first phones of the brand are famous for. The developers claim that the Nokia XR21 can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.8 meters and a jet of water at a pressure of 100 bar at temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius (characteristics of some dishwashers). In addition, it has dust protection.

The smartphone also received a durable aluminum body, and a 6.49-inch display is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus.

The rest of the XR21 looks like a regular budget Android smartphone. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor running Android 12 operating system. The screen is brighter (compared to the XR20) and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz - it can be operated even with wet hands and gloves.

On the back is a 64-megapixel main camera. It is noted that she uses AI to improve some features, such as portrait photography. The screen has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The gadget is equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor on the side. Smartphone speakers support Audio Boost mode, which provides 96 dB of stereo sound.

The phone received a 4800 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging.

Compared to its predecessor, the novelty does not have wireless power and ZEISS camera lenses.

Prices are not yet known, but it is assumed that in Europe the smartphone will cost about 530 euros (≈46,500 rubles).
